AXXA TERMS AND CONDITIONS & WARRANTY

We, at Axxa,  strive to offer our customers the best possible buying experience by prioritizing flexibility and customer service. We hope we can go above and beyond to reduce your downtime, find the part you are looking for, and ensure the transaction is as easy for our customer as possible. Please review the below terms and conditions and feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns.

PAYMENTS

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Business Checks for all North American purchases, wire transfers for international orders, and cash for local pickups. If an order is placed and a Proforma Invoice is issued, no guarantee of product availability will be made until the funds are transferred.
We offer various payment options to make your purchase as easy as possible. All transactions are handled securely.

Currency

All payments are denominated in US Dollar (USD). Payments made in other currencies may be subject to additional charges.

Credit Card Payments

We accept most of the major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard and American Express. There may be an additional charge for paying by credit card depending on the card type and value of the transaction.

Bank/Wire Transfer

To pay for your purchase using Bank/Wire Transfer simply instruct your bank to send the full amount as shown on our Quotation/Proforma Invoice. Please ensure you send your Quotation/Proforma Invoice number with your payment.

Paypal

To pay by PayPal, please make payment to the following email address: paypalus@axxamotion.com.

Checks/Cheques (US and Canadian businesses only)

All checks/cheques should be made payable to ‘Axxa '.

Western Union

We can also accept payments via Western Union from our international buyers, please contact our sales team for more details.

SHIPPING

Our official logistics partner is UPS. Most international orders will be shipped via DHL. However, we are flexible and willing to ship FedEx, UPS, or DHL upon request. We offer the option to ship collect on your own account, or to prepay and add shipping costs. We receive a significant shipping discount based on the volume of our shipment and in many cases can pass that discount on to our customers. Please let us know your preference when placing an order. 
There are various shipping options available to each country. Shipping methods and costs are clearly shown on all quotations.

Delivery times are detailed on all quotations and various options, including Next Day Delivery to many locations, are available. We can also offer time-definite and Saturday deliveries.
As soon as your item(s) have shipped, we'll send you a Shipment Notification email that includes the carrier's name and a tracking number with a link to their website.

Arrange Your Own Shipping

You can arrange your own shipping, there may be a charge for packing and handling. Please contact our sales team, if you wish to use your own shipping company and forward your account details and or the shipping label and we will do the rest.
Should you your own courier/shipping company, under no circumstances do we accept responsibility/liability for goods lost or damaged etc. whilst in transit if you choose your own carrier. It is the responsibility of you and your shipping company to resolve any issues directly with each other.

Local Customs Charges

This is your responsibility to pay any charges relating to the import of goods into your country. Under no circumstances do we accept responsibility/liability for local taxes and/or customs duties that may be payable upon delivery. It is your responsibility to ensure that you comply with these requirements.

Did Not Receive Order

There are number of reasons why an item you ordered may not have been received:

Missing or delayed order

Delivery usually takes 1-4 working days from receipt of payment depending on the delivery option chosen. We will notify you if there is any delay or longer delivery time. If you believe your item has been lost or delayed, please contact us.

Item temporarily out of stock

If an item goes out of stock and we expect to receive new stock within a reasonable time we will hold your order and dispatch the item to you as soon as stock is available.

Item unavailable

If an item becomes unavailable or is discontinued by the manufacturer, which means we are unexpectedly unable to fulfil your order we will contact you to let you know. If we are unable to fulfil your order or offer a suitable alternative then we will issue an immediate refund if your payment has already been processed.

Payment declined or not received

If we cannot process payment for any reason, we will contact you to let you know and ask you to access your account and update your card or bank details as necessary.

RETURNS

All items supplied or repaired by us are fully tested and carefully packed before shipping, including the use of anti-static bags/wrapping where applicable. If we receive no communication from you, within 7 days of delivery, regarding any problems with the items, you are deemed to have received the items in full working order and with no problems. Should any product supplied by AxxA fail within the first 7 days we will replace your item with an equivalent part. If no equivalent part can be found, then we will refund the amount you originally paid including any carriage charges.
If a problem occurs after the initial 7 days our standard warranty terms apply.

Repair, Replace, Refund

In the first instance we will always try to repair your existing part in one of our repair facilities. If a repair is not possible or will take too long, then we would replace your item with an equivalent part. If no equivalent part can be found, then we will refund the amount you originally paid excluding any carriage charges.

Reconditioned, Service Exchange & New products

Unless stated otherwise all products supplied by us are guaranteed to be in working condition and are covered by our 12-month return to base warranty. All warranties are issued by us, not the manufacturer, and will be honored by Axxa. If the item fails within 12 months from the date of delivery, please return it for a free repair or replacement.
Our liability shall be limited to the repair or replacement, at our choice, of any such defective product free of charge to our customer. If we decide that the product cannot be repaired or replaced, we will refund an amount equal to the sum you originally paid.
In no event shall we be liable for any damages except actual damages up to, but not exceeding, the amount paid to us. We shall not be liable for any consequential or indirect damages or loss of profits.

Repairs

Unless stated otherwise all products repaired by us are guaranteed to be free from defect in workmanship and materials and are covered by our 12-month return to base warranty (subject to normal storage, handling and installation conditions). If the item fails within 12 months from the date of delivery, please return it for a free replacement or repair.

All faulty units will be inspected and tested upon their return. If found not to be faulty, or if the fault was diagnosed to be caused after Axxa had delivered them, testing fees and penalty charges may be incurred. These will be at the discretion of Axxa.

If you wish to return an item for any reason this should be reported to us within 7 days of delivery. You then have a further 7 days to return the item, with all packaging and documentation, for assessment/inspection.
We will only authorize the return of an item in the following cases:

Faulty when Received

If an item is found to be defective through normal use and wear after 07 days but within the 1-year period, the Axxa Warranty dictates the appropriate course of action. After the 07 days period, Axxa reserves the right to decide between refund, repair, or replacement with identical product. Because of the high volume of outgoing and incoming shipments on a day to day basis, we unfortunately cannot accept returns on items ordered mistakenly or part numbers ordered incorrectly. If a special exception is approved, a restocking fee will be assessed. If you have any questions please contact us at sales@AxxaMotion.com.

Damaged in Transit

If items are damaged in transit this should be reported to us within 7 days so we can provide you with a replacement unit. If there is no availability for a replacement, the price of the items, as paid, will be refunded through the payment method used when the items were purchased.

The Customer should not return any damaged items until they are instructed to do so by Axxa as they may be subject to inspection from the courier company. If you suspect your order has been damaged in transit, Axxa will require photos of this damage to use as evidence in any claims.

Incorrect item

If you receive items which do not match those ordered, you should contact us within 7 days to arrange return.

Should you wish to return an item for any other reason than stated above we must be informed of the return and reason for return in writing within 7 days of receipt of the item. You then have a further 7 days to return the item in the original condition and packaging which will enable them to be immediately fit for re-sale. Returns of this nature will be subject to a 35% re-stocking fee.
This returns policy excludes software and specially manufactured products.

Restocks and Exchanges

All exchange items, including core exchanges, restocks and possible warranties, returned after 14 days from invoice date are subject to reduced credit at Axxa's discretion.

Restock fees are taken from the initial cost, adjusted for any discounts. A 35% restocking fee will apply if the original part is returned. Buyer may receive reduced credit if unit is required for recertification, if Axxa must repair, or if part is received after 14 days from invoice date. RESTOCK ITEMS RETURNED AFTER 30 DAYS FROM INVOICE DATE MAY RECEIVE NO CREDIT. MINIMUM RESTOCKING FEE IS $100.

WARRANTY

Items that come with our 1-year warranty include but are not limited to PLCs, HMIs, and Drives.  Please see your quotation/invoice for specific product warranty. All warranties are issued by Axxa Inc., not the manufacturer, and will only be honored by Axxa Inc. We hope this gives you the peace of mind and confidence to work with us on a regular basis. Buyer must contact AXXA for all warranty concerns. All warranty periods begin at date of shipment and are as follows:

  • All New and Refurbished motors, drives and electronic part purchases are backed by a one-year Warranty.
  • All Repaired servo motors, spindle motors and electronics come with a one-year Warranty (limited to the parts and labor performed by Axxa).

All Repair electronics must be returned for warranty evaluation. New and Refurbished Part purchases with failures occurring within the first 30 days of the warranty period are eligible to receive immediate replacement based on current payment terms. Warranty replacement depends on stock quantiles. Axxa must receive the possible warranty part for evaluation within 14 days of Buyer receiving the replacement part to receive warranty credit. If the possible warranty is not returned, Buyer is responsible for all charges. If Buyer requests part to be shipped a different method, Buyer must sign a quote accepting additional shipping charges.

Once part is returned and evaluated, either:

  (a) Axxa confirms valid warranty fault. Full purchase price plus shipping cost is credited to Buyer if a 30 days replacement part was charged to customer; not including any additional charges such as afterhours fees.
  (b) Axxa confirms part is a No Problem Found, (NPF). Buyer is responsible for restock charges (see restocking and exchanges). If Buyer requests return of NPF part, Buyer is responsible for a rush test fee and shipping charges.
  (c) Axxa confirms part is not covered under warranty. Buyer has option to:

  • Repair (Buyer responsible for repair cost and return shipping), or
  • Purchase or exchange, if applicable

After 30 days and for the remainder of the warranty period, Axxa will, at its sole option and expense, repair or replace any parts found to be defective and/or correct any repair work found to be improperly performed or refund the purchase price, provided Buyer has contacted Axxa, Buyer has received a Return Merchandise Authorization number and has returned the part to Axxa's location. Buyer is responsible for properly packaging and returning any defective part(s) to Axxa. If a part or repair performed by Axxa is under warranty, found to be defective, and Buyer received a Return Authorization. At its sole discretion, Axxa may use new or used parts to repair or to replace defective parts purchased from Axxa, and all replaced parts shall become the property of Axxa.

COD and credit card Buyers will be charged in advance if a warranty exchange is sent after the 30 days part replacement period. Credit will be issued via refund check or credit card if unit is deemed defective by Axxa. Buyer’s with payment terms can be sent a warranty exchange on their specified terms but must remain within their credit limit. Credit will be issued to the account if unit is deemed defective by Axxa. All parts sent from Axxa must have a signed quote prior to shipment.

Warranty on new monitors in the field over 30 days from date of shipment will be replaced with a refurbished unit if the original unit cannot be repaired.

Warranty is void if unit is tampered with, damaged due to physical abuse, or damaged due to failure of other machine elements, including but not limited to, contamination from coolant or other liquids, metal chips, carbon dust, etc. Axxa does not warrant wet motors or installation errors. This warranty shall become null and void and of no effect in the event that any part is operated outside of its normal operating environment or use for which it was designed or if damage to the part results from abuse, improper use, negligence, vandalism, acts of God, accidents or intervening causes, such as fire, flood, and/or electric voltage surge.

EXCHANGES

Axxa offers an exchange credit for most non-working units as a dollar amount off of a current order. This credit takes effect after the defective items are sent in and results in a discount from the original sale price of the item to be purchased. Axxa reserves the right to not offer an exchange in the case of international buyers where considerations such as shipping costs and customs costs may render the exchange less cost effective.

QUOTE VALIDITY

All quotes are valid for 30 days and are based on total bill of material quoted and product availability. If you have a quote that is past 30 days old, please contact us to find out if the pricing and availability have changed before placing an order. Please note, in the case of Proforma Invoices, the product is not removed from stock until after payment has cleared.

CANCELED ORDERS

Orders over $1000.00 USD are non-cancellable orders. 

LEGAL

This agreement shall be governed by and shall be construed according to the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any controversy or claim arising out of or related to this agreement, or the breach thereof, shall be tried in Mississauga ON Canada, and the Buyer agrees to such jurisdiction and waives objection to venue.

Any tax imposed by federal, state or other governmental authority on the sale of the goods and services shall be paid by Buyer.

This agreement shall become a contract for the goods and services specified herein either (a) when signed by Buyer, or (b) when Buyer has otherwise indicated acceptance of the terms hereof.

This agreement as written shall be applicable to Buyer's purchases from Axxa Provisions in customer's purchase orders contrary to these conditions are not binding upon Axxa unless accepted by Axxa in writing.

THE WARRANTY CONTAINED HEREIN IS IN LIEU OF ALL WARRANAXXAS, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WRITTEN OR ORAL, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE IMPLIED WARRANAXXAS OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. AXXA'S LIABILITY SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE APPLICABLE SELLING PRICE OF ANY DEFECTIVE PARTS OR EQUIPMENT, AND SHALL IN NO EVENT INCLUDE BUYER'S LOST PROFITS, GOOD WILL, OR ANY OTHER SPECIAL, INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.

How do I pay for an item I purchase from the website?

Axxa accepts payment by: Credit Card (Visa, MC, American Express), wire Transfer, Checks and Credit terms, if approved, from North American customers only.

International Customers pay by Paypal, Bank Wire Transfer and /or Western Union.
